In response to the growing number of cases of COVID-19 in Columbia and in the interest of protecting our artists, volunteers, and patrons, we have decided to cancel our production of Bring it On! The Musical. As we began this Season of Hope, we understood the possibility that COVID-19 would continue to force postponements and cancellations. We have approached the ever-changing pandemic situation with seriousness and care, and we have not made this decision lightly.

 

We are offering refunds for tickets; however, because MCAG relies heavily on ticket revenue to remain open and to provide you with quality shows and programming, we hope you will consider donating the value of your tickets. By doing this, you will sustain our work during this challenging time—and help us prepare for when our doors re-open to welcome you back. If you would still like a full refund for your tickets, please email us at treasurer@themcag.org  and please include the address where a check will be sent.

 

By its nature, theatre is all about human connection—and we will continue to focus our energies on creative ways to celebrate and inspire connections. In the meantime, we will continue to monitor this ever-changing crisis, and will make decisions about upcoming productions in a timely manner. 

 

Although we can’t predict the future, we are confident that together we will overcome the challenges we face in these unprecedented times. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
